Level Up students actively compete in many tournaments throughout the year. These tournament take place across Connecticut and New England. If you are interested in competition, we suggest talking to an instructor about attending our tournament class.
This class focuses specifically on the practice and application needed to be a successful tournament competitor. Students will learn what is need to polish up forms and weapon routines, stage breaks effectively, and learn effective sparring techniques and strategies.
We’ll also cover competition rules and etiquette while working together to become better teammates.
A wonderful benefit to tournament competition is the increased confidence and ability in every day life. Students gain more confidence presenting to panels, a valuable skill that translates into school and the workplace.
Note: Attendance for this class is open for all students but instructor approval is required first. Talk to your Level Up instructor about joining!
