Improved Focus

In Martial Arts, students are taught how to help each other out in class. Whether that be to help hold boards to break, targets for you to kick, even to being sparring partners. By creating a bond of trust and reciprocation, you and your classmates can then practice various techniques together and see how to make things work. Members at Level Up Karate have become close friends and help each other reach their goals in and outside of class.


Level Up is a great atmosphere to be in where you can succeed, gain self-esteem, and learn to never give up. We give you the skills you need to feel confident in your ability to defend yourself against any threat. We practice and practice to ensure that your muscles and body remember how to defend and counter any aggressor.

Engaging Classes

Training at Level Up will benefit you immensely! Martial Arts helps build mental toughness, teaches the value of hard work, and gives you the persistence you need in everyday life. Martial Arts can also be a great stress-relief from school or work because it helps take your mind off problems you might be facing and ref-focus all your thoughts into activities in front of them.


One of the main benefits of Martial Arts is improving your strength and balance. Martial Arts depends on kicking, which helps practitioners learn to balance their weight on one leg leaving the other one free to strike. Martial Arts utilizes your core strength and leg strength while working on your flexibility and agility. Martial Arts can also help greatly improve coordination and endurance.

Weight Loss

Obesity is a serious problem in the United States, so a brand new workout to your routine can greatly help. At Level Up, we know the importance of a healthy mind and body. You’ll burn hundreds of calories in each class, develop lean muscles, and boost flexibility. Martial Arts is a high-energy training activity that is great for overall health and/or weight loss.

If you want a place where you will be handed a black belt because you paid for it, Level Up is not for you. The instructors there have built a school based on two principles: respect and hard work. The students can set their own pace, but Instructors always push them to surpass their limits. In sparring sessions students use control, and always at the same level as their opponents.

Self defense for children is more that just being able to say no to a bully. Today’s world holds a lot of unknowns, we help prepare our students with the knowledge on how to properly and confidently handle potentially dangerous situations.

Bullying in schools has become an ever-increasing problem, so giving your child the skills they need to feel confident in redirection and assertiveness. Our students are taught how to redirect verbal assaults and assess situations without needing to physically use their skills.

As a traditional martial arts, part of Tang Soo Do involves learning sets of movements called forms.

Forms reinforce the techniques you learn while training and provide a foundation for growth. These forms require both focus and discipline to master.

Adults learn forms as part of their training at Level Up. Forms promote strong fundamentals, technique, balance, speed, and power as well as a great cardio work out.

Students of all levels regularly practice sparring at Level Up Karate.
This controlled contact practice reinforces proper technique and develops fast thinking, endurance, strength and discipline.
Sparring exercises the mind as much as the body. Proper planning, movement, timing, and execution are required to succeed as students progress to higher levels.
